MBJ_Internship at Human Relations (HR)

As an intern at our Mercedes-Benz Japan office in Makuhari, Chiba Prefecture, you will experience an intercultural working environment and develop your knowledge and skills by working with our team and other departments.

Tasks

• Recruiting activities (50%)
  • Updating online internship offers
  • Communicating with applicants
  • Screening candidates, including summarizing applications, interviewing, and discussing candidates with hiring managers
  • Preparing contracts and visa documents
• Administrative tasks (40%)
  • Preparing and registering insurance
  • Updating internal systems
  • Assisting interns with questions and problems related to company life and daily life in Japan
• Other tasks (10%)
  • Assisting with HR events
  • Translating documents
  • Supporting HR-related tasks and daily activities, such as preparing documents, updating lists, and making presentations

Conditions

• Desired starting date: February 1, 2027, subject to consultation
• Internship period: 6 months
• Working days: 3–5 days per week
• Compensation is calculated on the basis of an hourly wage and paid monthly
• Hybrid work possible

• Certificates or references for previous internships, work experience, and language skills, if applicable
• University transcript and certificate of enrollment, optional

Qualifications

• Study of economics, language, or business administration
• Fluent English at B2/C1 level
• Fluent Japanese at JLPT N2 or higher level preferred
• Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
• English–Japanese translation experience preferred
