Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

At Global Logistics, we oversee the transportation of goods from their country of origin to market distribution centres, utilizing a global network of logistics partners and service providers tailored to various product, market, and customer needs.

Delivering TRANS4RM (S4 Hana) SAP implementation is a key pillar of our vision under the Innovate Pillar. The goals include successful implementation of T4RM (S4Hana), ensuring resource allocation, execution of UAT, Hypercare, Cutover, Go Live, and change management efforts with key stakeholders within specified timelines. The role also drives continuous improvement and optimizes logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, and foster innovation.

As a Manager Projects, you will support the Senior Manager by ensuring the execution of cross-functional projects, managing dependencies, driving change management, and implementing innovative solutions. You will collaborate with Global Logistics, wider GSCM, Product Owners, Global Tech, and Market teams to continuously improve processes, maximize value, lead projects with best practices, drive user engagement, and ensure future readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Self-Leadership & People Management

  • Define and communicate clear objectives for yourself and your team.

Project Management

  • Lead regional, cross-functional projects end to end, applying project management methodology and effective communication.
  • Identify project dependencies and their impact, raise issues with senior leadership, and proactively offer solutions.
  • Identify solutions to conflicts and escalations and support timely resolution with key stakeholders.
  • Review completed projects to capture lessons learned and improve future performance.
  • Finalize and hand over projects, ensuring documents are approved and stored appropriately.

T4RM (S4Hana) Implementation & Governance

  • Partner with Product, Tech, PMO, Markets, and cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
  • Apply end-to-end process thinking and ensure stakeholders are consulted in key decisions.
  • Maintain robust governance, create transparency, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Oversee key-user and end-user training and UAT efforts with thorough validation.
  • Coordinate and execute Hypercare and Cutover activities for smooth transitions.
  • Ensure a successful Go Live through meticulous planning and execution based on the agreed roadmap.

Continuous Improvement

  • Project-manage strategic continuous improvement initiatives and deployments within inbound logistics.
  • Co-plan and align deliverables and timelines with leadership and the project team.
  • Capture lessons learned from completed projects.
  • Manage the yearly Tech Demand Planning process for Global Logistics by assessing needs with business stakeholders and Tech, developing business cases, and submitting demand.

Change Management

  • Engage key stakeholders early to gather input, address concerns, and build support.
  • Provide training and resources to help users adapt to new processes, tools, or systems.
  • Empower change champions within the organization to advocate for change.
  • Address resistance proactively by understanding root causes and providing support.
  • Implement measures to sustain change through regular reviews and reinforcement.

Key Relationships

Global Supply Chain Management, Global Logistics, Sourcing and Market-based teams, Product Owners, Global IT, Supply Chain Intelligence, Data & Analytics teams, respective business functions, 3PLs, carriers, external consultants, and Financial Controlling.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Recognized program management qualification and experience managing large budgets and building processes and people teams to deliver change and transformation.
  • Ability to collaborate with, guide, influence, and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements in logistics processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of logistics processes to ensure seamless integration and optimization.
  • Strong attention to detail, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, SAP, Infor Nexus, and Copilot is an asset.
  • Market knowledge of 3PL, transportation, and logistics providers and networks.
  • Fluent English skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally as required.

Requisite Education and Qualifications

  • University degree focused on Supply Chain Management or related areas, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5–6 years of progressive work experience in mid- to large-scale program or project management in logistics, transport, or supply chain.
  • PMP or PMI certification is a strong plus.
