Manager, Manufacturing APP

Purpose

• Drive Sourcing’s vision to build the most agile, competitive, digitalized and cleanest supply base in the industry.
• Drive quality and production goals at supply partners’ facilities while supporting manufacturing efficiency and Social & Environmental Affairs objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage production, quality, production availability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Escalate critical issues and lead problem-solving discussions to resolve or mitigate potential impacts.
• Manage relationships with factory management by applying appropriate resources, processes, tools and strategies to achieve operational excellence.
• Roll out and implement adidas best practices and directions at responsible factories.
• Influence factory production and quality middle management and drive change to achieve production objectives.
• Make day-to-day decisions within a defined scope through exception management, evaluating risks and seeking support on complex issues.
• Validate and confirm T1 capacity offers and follow up on availability performance when constraints exist.
• Model leadership that fosters a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

• Strong understanding of production and continuous improvement processes and methods.
• Ability to provide effective input into projects.

• Strong influencing, people, presentation and communication skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Education and experience

• University degree in engineering or a related area.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
