Job Overview
The Loyalty Accelerator Program (LAP) Agent delivers comprehensive support for the Mercedes-Benz loyalty program by verifying eligibility, resolving dealer inquiries, and accurately processing loyalty payment waivers. The role operates in a call center environment and supports dealers, field staff, and internal partners while coordinating documentation, workflows, financial processing, reporting, and account management activities.
The role also processes funding for Employee Lease contracts and Funding department mail.
Responsibilities
- Verify and confirm eligibility for the MB LAP incentive program using the MBUSA Market Support System. Process subsidy claims and reversals while ensuring compliance with program guidelines and accuracy standards.
- Manage loyalty-related issues through the LAP email box, investigate discrepancies, resolve complex scenarios, and determine appropriate paths for exceptions and escalations.
- Provide inbound and outbound support to dealers, field staff, and internal partners; resolve inquiries, explain program requirements, and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Monitor maturing lease accounts with Loyalty Certificates, take corrective action, and manage payment waiver inquiries, adjustments, and account qualification determinations.
- Complete funding for lease extensions and balloon refinance contracts within expected turnaround times.
- Complete required documentation and mail processes, maintain compliance reporting, coordinate incoming checks to the Business Center, and reconcile the check log weekly.
- Facilitate funding of Employee Leases contracted by the Employee Lease team.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application.
- Minimum of 2 years of overall work experience required.
- Preferred experience includes 2 years in general business and 1 year in funding.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Analytical, data collection, fact-finding, trend and variance identification, PC, Microsoft Office, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with NFA, Payment Aggregator, Alfa, COS, eValidate, Case360, FAW, Compass, MSS, Doc Management, WebAMS, and MB Advantage.
