Job Overview
The Credit Operations Business Transformation Manager will partner with Credit Operations leadership and strategic thought leaders to support business transformation and achieve operational, financial and strategic targets. The role will coordinate and execute initiatives that enhance, automate and optimize credit processes, systems and customer experiences.
This position requires Credit Operations knowledge, business process expertise, systems knowledge, project management capabilities and strategic thinking. The manager will liaise with Credit Operations, Business System Owners, IT, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysts and other business domains to evaluate opportunities, define future-state processes, establish requirements and facilitate system and process enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate and coordinate strategic Credit Operations system and process transformation opportunities that improve efficiency, quality, automation, risk management and customer experience.
- Assess current-state processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and develop future-state solutions involving automation, system enhancements, workflow optimization and elimination of manual activities.
- Develop recommendations and business cases covering strategic value, operational impact, resources, risks and expected benefits.
- Serve as the primary Credit Operations business engagement owner for prioritized system and process initiatives.
- Translate business objectives into business requirements and functional specifications with Business System Owners, IT, Business Analysts, Enterprise Architecture and other domains.
- Manage planning, coordination and execution of transformation initiatives, including objectives, scope, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks and resource constraints.
- Lead process analysis, user acceptance testing, implementation, defect resolution and post-implementation validation.
- Establish process documentation, procedures, training materials and knowledge transfer to support adoption.
- Facilitate workshops, project meetings and governance activities, and advise leadership on initiative value, impact, dependencies and resource requirements.
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
- Minimum of 5 years of overall work experience.
- Preferred experience includes business-general experience of 5 years and 1–3 years of experience in credit, finance, funding, strategy or vendor management.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred, with accounting among the recommended majors.
- Analytical, presentation and project management skills.
- Recommended prerequisites include Project Manager, Credit Analyst, Business System Owner or Scrum Master experience.
