Objective of job

Manage team members implementing importation, Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI), rework-related operations and projects in VPC Tianjin, while conducting quality audits and driving continuous process improvements.

Tasks

• Organize team members and service providers to follow established processes and implement operations in Tianjin port and VPC.
• Monitor daily importation, inspection, port handling, vehicle movements, PDI, vehicle rework, and communication with internal and external parties.
• Report the status of importation, PDI and rework operations to the central office daily.
• Conduct transport damage checks and reporting, implement improvement measures, and manage insurance claims until vehicles pass PDI.
• Implement new processes, standards and periodical campaigns; monitor, track and report results.
• Conduct on-site process checks and audits, evaluate service-provider performance, analyze findings, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor service-provider KPIs, present monthly reports and key issues, and optimize operating processes.
• Assist Headquarters quality-management audits and participate in quality-management meetings and workshops.
• Participate in importation, PDI and rework projects, meetings and business trips, and deliver project tasks on schedule.
• Develop technical criteria for service tenders, participate in supplier evaluations, and define service-contract requirements and standards.
• Participate in business meetings with service providers and coordinate with aftersales, purchasing, finance and IT departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; supply chain management is a plus.
• Good spoken and written English.
• At least 5 years of logistics experience, preferably in Vehicle Distribution Center operations.
• At least 3 years of experience managing logistics teams.
• Self-motivated, diligent, disciplined and customer-oriented.
• Strong logistics operations implementation and supplier-management skills.
• Strong cost-control awareness and excellent multitasking, communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent command of office software and familiarity with process-mapping software.
