Local Logistics & Stock Management Specialist (Fixed-term contract for 16 months/Maternity Leave Backup)

Tasks

The Local Logistics & Stock Management Specialist ensures the stable and efficient flow of vehicles from VPC arrival to dealer delivery by managing outbound logistics activities, inventory levels, and special transportation requirements.

Through proactive coordination with logistics partners, internal stakeholders, and headquarters, the role secures vehicle availability, optimizes stock allocation, and minimizes operational risks. By monitoring inventory aging, improving logistics processes, and driving system enhancements, this position plays a critical role in maintaining supply chain efficiency, supporting market demand, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery to dealers and customers.

Local Logistics Management

• Monitor shipment arrival schedules to secure optimal vehicle supply levels.
• Coordinate inbound logistics schedules with shipment companies, port operators, and inbound logistics companies.
• Validate vehicle information in documents against physical deliveries and correct discrepancies.
• Evaluate shipment documents such as bills of lading and request corrections when necessary.
• Execute requests required to promptly supply vehicles to the market, including separating bills of lading.
• Monitor outbound logistics capacity in relation to PDI throughput.
• Manage vendor payment settlement.

Special Logistics Management

• Coordinate with headquarters on transportation prioritization based on market demand and vehicle availability.
• Manage airfreight transportation, including vehicle selection, documentation, and delivery-date coordination.
• Manage ship-back cases with headquarters and relevant service providers.

Stock Management

• Monitor stock aging and distribute aged-stock reports.
• Coordinate storage allocation with internal stakeholders and vendors, including FTZ and bonded areas.
• Propose disposal measures for aged stock to minimize vehicle standing time and meet stock-level targets.

Process and System Automation Support

• Analyze and resolve process and system issues.
• Propose enhanced local blueprints for future process and system improvements.
• Analyze and validate direct-sales processes and systems within local logistics and stock management.
• Conduct UAT and collaborate with system developers on optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in vehicle sales or ordering.
• Preferred experience in retail business in the same industry.
• Automotive industry knowledge with hands-on experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven attitude.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
