Who You Will Work With
You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Inventory Control NA on the NA Supply Chain and Inventory Controlling team. You will serve as a key business partner across North America supply chain and inventory teams, collaborating closely with Inventory Management, Distribution Center Operations, Logistics, Technology, Controlling, and Finance teams.
As the connective thread across these organizations, you will help align operational strategies and inventory control governance practices to enable business objectives and ICFR integrity. You will also work alongside stakeholders supporting new facility launches, inventory initiatives, process transformation efforts, and technology-enabled solutions to drive greater visibility, accuracy, and efficiency across the network.
Who We Are Looking For
As the Lead, Inventory Control Accounting NA, you will be responsible for progressing strategic priorities across the North America supply chain network, representing Controlling on operational and control-related accounting matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Nike will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related functions.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) principles, and information technology general and automated controls; CISA is a plus.
- Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to translate business requirements into financial risks and controls.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results.
- Ability to travel domestically 10–20% of the time.
What You Will Work On
You will help build and sustain a world-class inventory control environment across Nike’s North America supply chain network. By partnering across Finance, Operations, and Technology, you will drive control excellence, improve inventory accuracy, strengthen financial reporting, and unlock scalable solutions that support future growth.
- Lead the execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of inventory and supply chain financial controls across the North America network.
- Drive ongoing ICFR compliance through effective control design, standardized execution, and disciplined monitoring.
- Partner with Inventory Management and Operations teams to identify, assess, and remediate inventory control risks affecting accuracy, completeness, and financial integrity.
- Develop sustainable process improvements that strengthen governance, reduce risk, and support evolving business and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and advance artificial intelligence opportunities within Inventory Control by defining high-value use cases, governance expectations, validation requirements, and control standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors on inventory-related control testing, validation activities, and audit coordination.
- Collaborate across Supply Chain, Technology, Controlling, and compliance teams to integrate control requirements into business processes and enable transparent, accurate financial reporting.
