Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer with French to drive the design, governance and delivery of complex automation solutions across enterprise environments. The role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, operational oversight and team management responsibilities.
This position is available to people located in Poland who are willing to commute to the Sopra Steria office in Katowice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture and implementation of complex automation solutions using enterprise automation platforms.
- Manage technical studies, assessments, project planning and effort, cost and risk estimations.
- Oversee project delivery and operations in line with SLAs, quality, security, budget and timeline requirements.
- Advise customers and stakeholders through governance meetings, solution reviews and pre-sales activities.
- Govern quality, security, data integrity and compliance while improving operational processes and automation practices.
- Lead, organize, mentor and develop multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Collaborate with architects, transformation teams, vendors and third-party partners.
- Monitor risks, manage escalations and incident response, and recommend improvements to infrastructure and service delivery.
Qualifications
Must-have requirements:
- Strong knowledge of advanced automation platforms and technologies.
- Expertise designing and delivering complex automated solutions.
- Experience with project studies, work package definition and solution planning.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure architecture, operations and service management.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, governance and security frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Very good French and English skills, minimum B2.
- Willingness to take occasional business trips abroad and regularly visit the Katowice office.
Nice-to-have requirements: TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification, ITIL v4, and certifications in automation, cloud, security or infrastructure architecture.
