The Energy Brand Planning and Operations team establishes the infrastructure, tools, and systems that enable Nike’s brand and business functions to operate smoothly and precisely. Nike is seeking a Marketing Operations Lead to establish how Global Energy Marketing plans, builds, and delivers collaborations, storytelling, and brand experiences.

This highly influential individual-contributor role owns operating rhythms, budget discipline, tools, and reporting that keep work moving on time, on scope, and on budget.

What You Will Work On

Marketing Operations

  • Lead seasonal marketing milestones, kickoffs, cross-functional integrations, and decision-making forums.
  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms, communication cadences, and clear ways of working.
  • Design, implement, and improve execution and operating processes to increase clarity, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Produce or project manage critical projects while driving overall seasonal milestones.
  • Partner with production to forecast resources and the creative operating model.
  • Optimize workflows with emerging tools and AI-enabled ways of working where they improve speed, visibility, or quality.
  • Manage creative vendors and cross-functional inputs to support high-quality marketing delivery.

Budget and Planning

  • Plan, manage, and track budgets across projects and seasons.
  • Manage contacts, vendor setup, statements of work, and purchase orders.
  • Partner with marketing leads to allocate, optimize, and calibrate budgets based on priorities and business needs.
  • Support alignment between marketing plans, concept maps, product priorities, and team resourcing.

Strategic Enablement

  • Act as a thought partner to senior leaders of Global Brand and Ops & Planning.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across the brand portfolio and proactively drive resolution.
  • Translate complex inputs into clear plans, recommendations, and operating decisions.
  • Enable teams to work more effectively by simplifying complexity and improving ways of working.

Who You Will Work With

You will report to the Director of Brand Planning & Ops, Energy. Key partners include Global Brand Management, Creative Studio, Social and Digital teams, Product & Merchandising, Sports Marketing, Communications, and Marketplace & City Teams. The role has no direct people management responsibility but operates with significant influence across teams and projects.

What You Bring

  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, strategy, or related roles within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Experience working with or around creative partners and cultural collaborators is preferred.
  • Ability to build and iterate marketing processes, operating models, and tools.
  • Proactive, confident communication skills and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving progress through change.
  • Strong understanding of seasonal marketing workflows, go-to-market planning, and consumer-led brand strategy.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives, plans, and recommendations.
  • Proficiency with planning and collaboration tools such as Airtable, Smartsheet, Box, Tableau, or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

Position Location & Schedule

This position is based at Nike’s worldwide campus headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. The schedule is 4/1 hybrid: Monday through Thursday in the office, with Friday optional from the Nike campus office or home office.
