Within LCL's Wealth Management division, which supports the wealth planning needs of business leaders, you will advise wealthy clients with more than €5 million in financial assets. You will build long-term relationships of trust by providing comprehensive, tailored and high-value wealth management solutions.

As a Tax Lawyer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and retaining, alongside Private Bankers, a portfolio of high-net-worth clients with complex needs.
  • Identifying the wealth, tax and succession issues specific to each situation.
  • Co-constructing comprehensive wealth strategies aligned with clients' long-term objectives, taking into account their tax position, family structure, and professional and personal assets.
  • Working cross-functionally with legal, tax, compliance and risk teams to ensure secure support that complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Actively contributing to the ongoing training of Private Bankers by sharing best practices, developing expertise in complex wealth management matters and monitoring regulatory developments.
  • Contributing to the bank's visibility by organising and participating in targeted events.
  • Developing and maintaining contacts with legal professionals, including notaries, lawyers and advisers working in the wealth management field.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in law and tax, wealth management or equivalent; lawyer or notary qualification accepted.
  • Confirmed experience of 7–10 years as a legal professional in wealth management or working with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Strong financial, legal and tax knowledge.
  • Command of complex wealth management matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills.
  • Rigour and organisation, with the ability to manage several client matters independently and maintain close attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop a network and generate new opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
