Under the responsibility of the Director of Legal Affairs, the main responsibilities include:

• Managing complex international litigation in collaboration with lawyers and proposing a legal strategy for each case.
• Advising sales teams on transactional operations requiring legal support.
• Contributing to the drafting of documents and research related to governance, corporate matters and banking regulations applicable to the bank's governing bodies, as well as company law more broadly.
• Contributing to the implementation of cross-functional legal monitoring as a collaborative project and assisting with legal monitoring meetings.
• Conducting legal research and drafting internal memoranda.
• Working on revisions of security templates and training materials for the sales department.
• Participating in the drafting and negotiation of contractual documentation, including financing or credit agreements, guarantees, security documents, participation agreements, and contracts with suppliers, service providers or subcontractors.

Profile

• Master's degree or equivalent in banking and financial law, international commercial law or business law, ideally complemented by a dual qualification such as a business school degree or LL.M.
• Experience as a lawyer in international banking law, in a law firm or international bank.
• 6–10 years of minimum experience.
• Excellent legal analysis skills, rigour, organisation and autonomy.
• Interpersonal skills, leadership and a strong team spirit.
• Strong writing skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Operational English; Arabic proficiency would be an advantage.
