Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer (operating systems) to join Sopra Steria Polska on a team supporting a French telecommunications client.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux and Windows server environments.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications to ensure availability, performance and stability.
- Handle incident and problem management, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Support Kubernetes-based environments and containerized applications.
- Participate in on-call duties, shift-based support and collaboration with French-speaking stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of commercial experience in infrastructure, systems administration or technical support.
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, including administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with application administration and support.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Hands-on experience in application monitoring, log analysis and incident management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Very good French, minimum B2, and English communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and out-of-hours support when required.
- Availability to work shifts between 7:00 and 19:00.
- Strong communication, documentation and collaboration skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
