Your role
Capgemini Engineering is looking for an experienced Integration Developer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of healthcare integration solutions. The role involves working on new and existing integrations to support communication between clinical and enterprise systems using modern integration technologies and interoperability standards.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that support critical healthcare operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and support interfaces between clinical and business systems.
- Develop and optimize integrations involving relational databases and PL/SQL.
- Implement event-driven architectures and messaging solutions using Kafka.
- Work with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 FHIR and HL7 v2.
- Analyze and troubleshoot integration issues while ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, best practices, and technical documentation.
Your profile
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot development.
- Solid knowledge of PL/SQL, relational databases, and data integration concepts.
- Experience with Kafka and familiarity with HL7 FHIR standards.
- Experience with HL7 v2 and clinical systems in healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability and messaging standards.
- Ability to work independently on new developments and maintenance of existing integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English.
