We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our IT Service Management (ITSM) operations and internal AI Copilot initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform and exposure to emerging AI-driven productivity tools in an enterprise environment.
The intern will work closely with Service Delivery and platform teams to enhance operational processes, improve user experience, and support automation efforts across IT workflows.
Schedule and compensation
- Schedule: Part-time, 10–20 hours per week
- Duration: 3–6 months, with a possible extension
- Compensation: Paid internship
What will you be doing
- Assist in maintaining and improving ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management.
- Support ticket triage, categorization, and workflow optimization activities.
- Document processes, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in testing and validation of new ServiceNow features, enhancements, and platform updates.
- Support Service Catalog development by creating and updating catalog items, workflows, and user-facing request forms.
- Support the implementation and adoption of internal AI Copilot solutions.
- Identify and document potential use cases for AI-driven automation across IT and business processes.
- Assist with prompt engineering and optimization for AI Copilot scenarios.
- Create and maintain best-practices documentation, playbooks, and usage guidelines.
- Conduct basic analysis of AI tool effectiveness, user adoption, and usage trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Service Delivery, Engineering, and Operations.
- Assist with data analysis and preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Support ongoing platform improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT Service Management concepts; ITIL knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Preferred
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Interest in AI, automation, and enterprise productivity tools.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Basic scripting knowledge, such as JavaScript or Python, is a plus.
