Who We Are

We design smart and innovative IT solutions for the global and complex processes of the Mercedes-Benz Global Supply Chain. The team takes end-to-end responsibility for analyzing, planning, and implementing business requirements in applications while collaborating with business departments and internal and external service providers.

The team consists of 10 motivated colleagues and promotes knowledge sharing, lifelong learning, personal development, trust, respect, and direct communication. Team members work with modern technologies and international project partners across the Mercedes-Benz network.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for complex IT projects, including planning, steering, controlling, and reporting.
  • Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality, including active risk management.
  • Manage and facilitate demanding internal and external stakeholders, including in shared-responsibility setups.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and external service providers.
  • Analyze, design, and further develop IT processes, system integrations, and technical interfaces.
  • Initiate new projects, structure work packages, and track deliverables.
  • Act as the central interface between business units, development, suppliers, and management.
  • Prepare decision papers, status reports, and management briefings.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience managing complex IT projects with demanding stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in budget, resource, and risk management.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Solid technical understanding of system integrations, interfaces, and IT architectures.
  • Structured, analytical, and pragmatic working style with a high level of ownership and reliability.
  • High initiative, solution-oriented thinking, and a results-driven mindset focused on measurable business value.
  • Strong team-player skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to quickly understand and improve complex business processes.

Additional desirable qualifications

  • Experience with AI use cases and tools in business or IT contexts.
  • Experience in large-scale transformation programs.
  • Mainframe knowledge or experience in legacy system environments.

Languages

  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Spanish and German are desirable.
