Your day at a glance

  • Collaborate in a dynamic, diverse, and innovation-driven environment.
  • Design, set up, maintain, and enhance AWS cloud resources using infrastructure as code.
  • Support the rollout of new payment products and services from an infrastructure perspective.
  • Take ownership of deployments during releases and ensure the sound functioning of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Further develop data pipelines with integrations to various systems.
  • Use Datadog expertise to enhance platform reliability and monitoring.
  • Drive IT Operations during the rollout of existing products to new markets and use cases.
  • Collaborate with Mercedes-Benz Group IT specialists and external providers.
  • Help ensure the operational excellence of the global payment platform.
  • Ensure compliance with Mercedes policies and relevant laws and regulations.

What we expect

  • Passion for IT and an open-minded, highly motivated attitude.
  • Relevant studies in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong solution-oriented, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud service architecture best practices and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, software programming such as Java, Git SCM, and the Atlassian Toolchain.
  • Hands-on Datadog experience and a deep understanding of its features and capabilities.
  • Experience with platform reliability practices, monitors, automated alerts, and on-call services.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and common standards.
  • Fluent business English skills.
