Investment Advisor, NA M/F

Reporting to the Head of Investment Solutions Singapore, you will be responsible for providing investment advisory to the clients and relationship managers (RMs) of the North Asia (NA) team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive investment advice on multi-asset-class portfolios directly to Ultra High Net Worth Private Clients, Family Offices and RMs.
• Monitor client portfolios regularly by performing portfolio reviews according to clients’ changing investment objectives and needs, as well as macroeconomic and market changes.
• Proactively contact clients with meaningful portfolio updates and provide investment recommendations within the clients’ and bank’s recommendation framework, using portfolio-context and disciplined, risk-controlled checks.
• Ensure timely and adequate execution, confirmation and supervision of client orders.
• Partner with RMs to support Asset Under Management (AUM) and Markets & Investment (MIS) product acquisition through client meetings, presentations and investment proposals.
• Collaborate closely with other MIS teams on campaigns.
• Maintain a good understanding of all asset classes to provide well-rounded solutions to RMs and clients.
• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure full qualification for the role.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance from a leading business school or university.
• Minimum 10–15 years of working experience, including 10 years of relevant experience as a Wealth Management Investment Advisor.
• Prior experience covering NRI, India-linked or South Asia client segments in private banking or wealth management.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation and multi-asset advisory.
• Additional certification such as CACS and CFA is preferred.
• In-depth understanding and observance of control, risk and banking regulations.
• Autonomous, with the ability to collaborate as a team member.
• Open-minded, flexible and curious to learn new things.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese, due to regular dealings with native-speaking clients across the North Asia region.
