Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is seeking an international student intern to support Quality Audit Management in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International manufactures luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles, at its Tuscaloosa County site and produces lithium-ion batteries at its Bibb County campus. The company promotes teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

This is a paid internship.

Essential Functions

  • Support Zeus tracking and reporting for all new models and facelift launches.
  • Maintain and support the Technical Product Audit Process.
  • Maintain the VoCA Scorecard using Power BI and Python scripting.
  • Contribute to new digitalizing efforts in audit.

Education and Skills

Students must be studying Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven time-management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility in work timing.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a university or in a gap year between a bachelor's and master's degree.
  • Studies outside the United States; applications from students currently studying in the United States are not accepted.
  • At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
  • Availability for a minimum of six months.
