Tasks
Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. is hiring an intern to support the management of international interns at MBUSI.
- Manage recruiting and application processes, including creating online job advertisements, managing applications, conducting interviews, and creating offer letters.
- Administer HR software.
- Work closely with all MBUSI departments.
- Support interns with the visa process, including coordination with visa sponsors and direct contact with U.S. authorities.
- Support onboarding, including first-day activities and legal matters.
- Act as the HR contact for past, current, and future interns on legal matters, taxes, payroll, and other HR topics.
- Create budget overviews for international interns at MBUSI.
- Support offboarding, including exit interviews and letters of recommendation.
- Plan, organize, and implement HR projects.
Qualifications
- Currently studying Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Team-oriented and self-reliant.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Distinctive interpersonal skills.
- Interculturally interested.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a university or in a gap year between a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.
- Studying outside the United States.
- At least three semesters of study in a relevant field.
- Available for a minimum of six months.
