Intern - Fleet, Demo & Used Car Management

Tasks

These tasks await you as an intern for Fleet Management of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia:

• Support vehicle registration process documentation.
• Assist in monitoring vehicle movements and managing requests based on vehicle schedules.
• Safekeep and store fleet management documents, and provide documents when necessary.
• Support vehicle assetizing and road tax and insurance renewals.
• Prepare purchase orders for requested services and jobs for fleet vehicles.
• Support the Fleet Management team in daily operations, administrative work, and other ad hoc tasks.

Expected outcomes

• Understand how the automotive industry works, including government regulations applicable in real-life situations.
• Enrich knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz vehicle portfolio.
• Improve data organization.
• Increase networking with internal and external colleagues.
• Strengthen communication skills in the corporate world.
• Sharpen Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Increase understanding of vehicle and fleet management processes in a company.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a relevant field, with a CGPA of 3.00 or above.
• Proficient in English and Malay.
• Currently pursuing a degree at a Malaysian tertiary education establishment.
• Able to commit to a six-month internship.
• Structured, meticulous, results-driven, and adaptable.
• Good communicator and team player.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
• Fast learner who can grasp new systems and processes is highly preferred.
• Valid Malaysian driver's license.
