Intern, Digital Transformation & AI, CEO Office

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is committed to accelerating digital transformation and is seeking an intern to join the CEO Office. The role supports strategic transformation across Southeast Asia and helps shape the adoption of artificial intelligence and digital technologies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify business pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital transformation, AI, and automation.
• Conduct business process discovery sessions and document current- and future-state workflows.
• Build and maintain repositories of AI use cases, prompts, and AI agents.
• Explore, prototype, and recommend AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other low-code platforms.
• Research emerging AI capabilities and assess their application to business operations.
• Track productivity improvements, efficiency gains, and business value delivered through AI initiatives.
• Support regional business transformation initiatives across Southeast Asia.
• Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Prepare governance reports, executive updates, and transformation dashboards.
• Support business process improvement, documentation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Coordinate CEO Office operations, strategic priorities, leadership meetings, workshops, town halls, and regional events.
• Prepare executive presentations, briefing papers, reports, meeting materials, communications, and summaries.
• Manage agendas, minutes, action trackers, follow-up activities, and meeting logistics.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple countries and functions.
• Provide project coordination and administrative support for strategic initiatives and ad hoc assignments.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Able to commit to a minimum six-month full-time internship; applicants able to complete six months or longer are preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, generative AI, automation, and digital transformation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
• Exposure to Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, or other Microsoft Power Platform tools is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering or workflow automation is a plus.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively or independently.
