Information Security Engineer - Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Purpose

Enable adidas’ strategy, innovation, and growth by delivering a seamless and secure digital identity and access experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate and enhance IAM services in Entra ID.
• Drive automation of identity lifecycle processes, including joiner, mover, leaver, provisioning, and governance.
• Implement identity governance and administration capabilities.
• Support secure, scalable, standardized IAM solutions.

What We Are Looking For

• College or university degree with a focus on IT, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in the relevant technical area.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent English skills, verbal and written.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience with identity governance, including provisioning, access reviews, and PIM.
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Azure Automation, or Logic Apps.
• Knowledge of SSO and application integration, including SCIM and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML authentication protocols.
• Experience with hybrid identity across on-premises Active Directory and Entra ID.
• DevOps mindset with ownership of IT processes from development and testing through deployment.
• Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Proactivity, strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on approach, and a growth mindset.
• Passion for software engineering and development, with a strong focus on software quality.

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills

• Conditional Access and Zero Trust concepts.
• AI-assisted coding.
• Development experience with .NET or C#.
• Log Analytics and monitoring.

Main Technologies

• Cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Identity and access management, SSO, federation, and Zero Trust.
• Application and API security.
• Network security architecture.
• Data and AI security architecture.
• Threat modelling methodologies such as STRIDE.
• Secure SDLC practices.
• Modern architectures including microservices, containers, and serverless.
