Inbound Logistics Specialist (External)

Tasks

Main tasks:

• Track 2nd delivery material and EX33 material until dispatch.
• Update the air shipment overview and follow up on customs clearance to ensure clearance meets agreed lead-time targets.
• Review shipment documents for customs entries and coordinate with the customs clearance broker.
• Complete shipment documents on the shared drive.
• Prepare packing lists and share them with stakeholders for material-list checks.
• Send goods-receiving forms and notes to warehouses and the accounting department, and update the IDC sheet.
• Coordinate with EX33 and the customs broker to prepare Cargo X documents for air shipments for MB and EGA.
• Prepare and coordinate supporting documents required for customs clearance, including Form 4.
• Support placing EX33 orders and follow up on material arrival.
• Support follow-up of sea shipments and pre-alerts.
• Follow up sea-shipment delivery to the plant in coordination with the assembler for receiving and preparations based on capacity.
• Record all damages and details in insurance claims and inform the insurance company.
• Participate in damage inspection with the insurance agent and provide additional information.
• Arrange any required visits or actions with the insurance surveyor.
• Issue the weekly insurance claim and follow the reimbursement process.
• Follow up with the insurance company until claim settlement.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent from a reputable university.

Technical Knowledge: 1–2 years’ experience in customs clearance processes.

Soft Skills and Individual Competence:

• Excellent command of English.
• Attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Strong quantitative skills.
• Strong communication and collaborative-working skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Digital literacy is required; programming knowledge is preferred.
