IAM Solution Expert for Entra ID

Mercedes-Benz Canada is seeking an IAM Solution Expert for Entra ID to join its Global Cyber Security team. The role focuses on secure, scalable identity and access management services, application and non-human identity governance, automation, and innovation using Microsoft Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine requirements for application onboarding, lifecycle automation, and configuration and consent management.
• Design and standardize integration patterns using Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO, federation, and workload identities.
• Establish and govern application onboarding standards, ownership, authorization models, and integration types.
• Automate lifecycle management for applications, agents, and service principals.
• Define and enforce configuration and consent governance, including API permissions, approvals, and least-privilege access.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and development teams on reusable integration approaches.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to non-human identities, including overprivileged access, missing ownership, and unmanaged credentials.
• Contribute to Zero Trust principles and the future governance of AI agent and workload identities.
• Support governance reviews, operational improvements, and continuous enhancement of the IAM landscape.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or 5+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IAM architecture, with a focus on identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML federation, and API permission governance.
• Expertise in non-human and workload identities, including application registrations, service principals, and managed identities.
• Experience defining target architectures, integration standards, lifecycle automation, enterprise tool integrations, DevOps, and agile environments.
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and least-privilege principles.
• Strong collaboration, ownership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent English; German is an asset.
