Job Description

We're looking for an HR & Office Coordinator to join our team. This role is suited to someone eager to learn, grow, and take on diverse responsibilities across HR and office operations. In a fast-paced startup environment, adaptability and problem-solving are key. You’ll help ensure smooth day-to-day business functions while helping shape company culture.

What You’ll Do

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Maintain employee records, manage benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Drive learning and development initiatives through training and job performance improvement programs.
  • Track and manage personnel expenses within the HR budget.
  • Provide basic HR support and address employee inquiries.

Office Operations and Strategy

  • Manage procurement tasks, including vendor setup, purchase orders, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage customer account setup in SAP, including pricing updates and sales order processing.
  • Manage tax submissions and export documentation, including product allocations and donations.
  • Oversee general office upkeep.
  • Monitor and manage the budget for the designated area.
  • Support strategic initiatives by assisting with presentations and following up on key tasks.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and tasks across the organization.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, craft beer, wine, or restaurant industries is preferred.
  • HR certifications such as PHR or SPHR are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Experience with employee relations, EEO, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Experience with investigations, hourly employee management, and succession planning.
  • Strong data analysis skills for HR metrics.
