Job description
Primark is recruiting an HR Generalist - People & Culture Administrator to join the People & Culture team supporting a store with at least 100 colleagues. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and possible relocation within Italy.
The position is based in Northern Italy or Central-Southern Italy, with a housing contribution of up to €2,000 gross per month for 18 months and reimbursement of relocation expenses.
Contract and benefits
- Permanent employment contract.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, five days out of seven, with availability for shifts Monday to Sunday.
- Level 3 classification under the ConfCommercio Commerce, Distribution and Services collective agreement.
- Gross annual salary of €28,500 over 14 payments.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Store People & Culture Business Partner, you will progressively take ownership of:
- Administration: recording attendance, shift changes, sickness, holidays and payslip management.
- Organisation: supporting managers with working schedules based on commercial commitments and organising holiday plans.
- Recruitment: publishing adverts, screening CVs and interviewing sales assistants for the relevant store.
- Training: managing new colleague induction, training pathways and development plans.
- Safety: organising mandatory training, reporting, personal protective equipment and emergency plans.
Requirements
- Experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist in a structured organisation.
- Positive, energetic and dynamic approach, with collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people focus, interpersonal skills and empathy.
- Planning and organisational ability.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office.
- Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, across five working days.
- Willingness to relocate within Italy, with the possibility of expressing a preference between the Northern and Central-Southern areas.
