Bull is looking for an HR Generalist to join its Human Resources team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The role is responsible for managing the employee lifecycle and ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately and in compliance with labor legislation, internal policies, and service level agreements.
The role partners closely with employees, managers, external payroll providers, and authorities to support HR operations, payroll coordination, compliance, and employee programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee lifecycle processes, including hiring, employment changes, and terminations, ensuring accurate HR documentation and records.
- Administer employee absences and working time, including sick leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, and other statutory leave entitlements.
- Coordinate payroll activities by preparing, validating, and submitting employee data, compensation changes, bonuses, and absence information to the external payroll provider.
- Administer employee benefits, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, employment legislation, and HR-related matters.
- Coordinate communication with external vendors, government authorities, and regulatory bodies regarding employment and social security matters.
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation, data privacy requirements, internal procedures, and agreed SLAs while contributing to continuous HR process improvement.
- Prepare HR reports, maintain accurate employee data, and support business decision-making through HR analytics.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant HR Generalist or HR Operations experience within an international organization.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Competences and Skills
- Solid understanding of HR administration, employment legislation, and payroll processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with HR systems; SuccessFactors Employee Central is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.
