Hybrid Senior Level

At HEINEKEN Kraków (HEINEKEN Business Services Poland), our success comes directly from our great people. We are a growing team of business experts in finance, accounting, data and technology, focused on being inclusive, diverse and open to new challenges.

As HBS Lead Data Specialist, you make sure leadership sees the data they need to steer HBS. You translate leadership needs into a coherent, governed and trusted reporting model. You connect business and technology by working with leadership and business stakeholders on what they need to see, and with Digital & Technology on how it is delivered.

This is not a pure technical role or a pure business role: you need to be fluent in both. You own governance of the KPI framework, drive the quality and consistency of reporting, and ensure that the reporting model evolves as the organisation grows.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with HBS leadership and senior stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear requirements for the Digital & Technology team.
  • Ensure the right people are involved in shaping data and architecture decisions.
  • Own the KPI framework, including definitions, calculation logic, ownership assignments and updating cadences.
  • Ensure KPI definitions and calculation methods are applied consistently across executive, tactical and operational reporting levels, globally and regionally.
  • Set and monitor data quality standards, and manage changes to KPIs and reports, including documentation and data lineage.
  • Expand the established reporting foundation by improving coverage, reliability and quality for executive, tactical and operational audiences.
  • Work with report designers and Digital & Technology to deliver reporting for different audiences, reviewing and challenging the output without building it yourself.
  • Work with data engineers on data flows from source systems through Azure and Databricks into Power BI, and identify opportunities to automate manual input.
  • Embed governance routines and reporting ways of working into business-as-usual processes.
  • Coach KPI owners, data providers and report designers on their roles and responsibilities, building lasting internal capability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in management reporting, analytics, business intelligence or data governance, ideally in a large, complex, multi-function organisation.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, the Azure data stack, such as Data Lake, Data Factory or Fabric, and Databricks.
  • Good understanding of data modelling and data lineage.
  • Ability to review, direct and challenge people who build data models, pipelines and Power BI solutions, including data modelling, DAX and Power Query.
  • Understanding of how leadership steers an organisation and ability to turn this into clear reporting requirements.
  • Experience governing a KPI or metrics framework at scale, setting data standards and maintaining data quality.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, simplifying complexity and driving initiatives to conclusion.

Preferred certifications

Certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600), Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate or DAMA CDMP at Practitioner level are advantageous.
