Government & Regulatory Affairs Intern
This is a fixed-term contract ending on July 7, 2027, as part of the Mercedes-Benz Canada Make Your Mark Internship (MYMI) Program.
Responsibilities
- Monitor upcoming automotive regulations and present updates to the team.
- Organize service and AMG manuals and work with the digital team to publish them on the website.
- Work with the parts team to keep parts information up to date in the system.
- Respond to dealerships regarding literature inquiries.
- Document and track system bugs through to resolution.
- Report on recalls and service campaigns.
- Update the Customer Assistance Centre team with recall information.
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in Canada; work visa or permit sponsorship is not supported.
- Graduated in 2025 or expected to graduate by August 2026 in Public Policy, Political Science, Government Relations, Law, Regulatory Affairs, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow issues through to resolution.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Passion for the Mercedes-Benz brand and automotive industry, with strong research, analytical, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.
- French language skills are preferred.
Work arrangement and compensation
This is a hybrid role requiring employees to work on-site two to three days per week. The expected hourly rate is $21.49.
