Role overview

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with a .NET focus and 6–9 years of experience to design, build, and maintain complex, scalable web applications in Bengaluru.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Angular.
• Architect and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C#, modern .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and optimize relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and use NoSQL databases including MongoDB where appropriate.
• Implement Git workflows, Docker containerization, Kubernetes deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, lead architecture discussions, and establish development standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams in an agile environment.
• Lead sprint planning, estimations, and agile ceremonies, and document technical designs and workflows.

Required skills

• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular, C#, modern .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Advanced knowledge of Entity Framework Core, asynchronous programming, multithreading, dependency injection, and RESTful API architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, software architecture patterns, and agile development.
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with .NET microservices, Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform, infrastructure as code, Blazor, API gateways, distributed systems, messaging, caching, observability, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, DDD, and Clean Architecture.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology is required, although candidates with fully relevant professional experience may be considered. The role requires 6–9 years of relevant full-stack software development experience.
