Tasks

  • Provide technical leadership and make architecture decisions for the development team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java applications.
  • Implement RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and integrate with microservices architecture.
  • Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Develop and maintain event-driven systems using Kafka or MQ.
  • Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases and optimize database interactions.
  • Use persistence frameworks such as Hibernate or OpenJPA for data access.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams using frameworks such as Angular.
  • Integrate with legacy IT systems where required.
  • Apply API gateway technologies for API routing, security, and monitoring.
  • Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and iterative development cycles.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
  • Manage operations and production environments, monitor system health, and resolve production issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a technical lead.
  • Very strong proficiency in Core Java programming.
  • Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs with Spring Boot.
  • Proven experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Strong experience with relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Experience with cloud-native applications, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka or MQ.
  • Deep knowledge of Hibernate or OpenJPA.
  • Experience with API gateway technologies and legacy system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
