Exterior Roof and Glazing System Engineer / 外饰车窗及天窗系统工程师

Tasks

• Exterior engineering for components and systems including roof components, wipers and glass.
• Develop roof- and glazing-related components and functions, including sensors, kinematic functions and antennas.
• Verify concepts through vehicle validation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Enable exterior concepts to fit customer needs and contribute to industrial competitiveness in terms of cost and features.
• Coordinate and realize industrialization work for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.
• Support change management and solve plant and after-sales part issues for exterior parts of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Solid CAD knowledge; Siemens NX is preferred, with very good knowledge of CATIA or Pro/ENGINEER and willingness to learn new CAD systems.
• Technical knowledge of kinematics, electrical systems or optics is preferred.
• Familiarity with development and production processes.
• Native Chinese speaker with fluent English; German is preferred.
• Strong planning, organizational, supplier management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• High commitment to automobiles, self-responsible working attitude and initiative.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to prepare and support supplier launches.
