Executive, Transformation, Data & Liquidity Specialist

Objective of Job

Responsible for driving finance transformation, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making through analytics, reporting automation, and process improvements. Responsible for treasury, liquidity, foreign exchange exposure, and working capital management to support business performance and cash optimization. Supports finance governance, business continuity, reporting backup activities, and special projects to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

Finance Transformation & Digitalization

• Lead finance transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.
• Support OneERP, digital finance solutions, automation, and system enhancement projects.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate finance processes.
• Drive adoption of digital tools, AI, and Business Intelligence solutions within Finance.
• Act as key finance representative in transformation projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Develop and maintain finance dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting solutions.
• Leverage data analytics to support strategic decision-making and business insights.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across finance reporting platforms.
• Utilize Power BI, SAP Analytics, and other digital tools to deliver actionable insights.
• Support predictive analytics, trend analysis, and scenario modeling.

Treasury, Liquidity & Working Capital Management

• Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, funding requirements, daily cash position monitoring, and liaison with Regional Treasury.
• Manage banking facilities, dividend payments, treasury reconciliations, and related operational matters.
• Monitor and communicate liquidity requirements, working capital performance, and foreign exchange exposures.
• Support the evaluation and execution of hedging strategies where applicable.
• Drive receivables management to optimize cash flow and working capital efficiency.
• Prepare and coordinate treasury, foreign exchange, liquidity, and management reporting.
• Lead treasury-related initiatives and process improvements.

Governance, Audit & Business Support

• Ensure compliance with company policies, Mercedes-Benz Group requirements, treasury governance standards, and relevant regulations.
• Support statutory, corporate, and ad-hoc audits.
• Provide backup support for statutory reporting, Flash Report preparation, and financial reporting.
• Monitor payables and receivables e-Invoicing processes and data integrity.
• Maintain and improve policies, procedures, work instructions, process documentation, Visio flows, and iDoP documentation.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy and/or Finance.
• Professional qualification in Accountancy and/or Finance, such as CIMA, ACCA, or ICAEW.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
• Experience in data analysis, credit management, and treasury is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Finance, Treasury, Working Capital Management, and Internal Controls.
• Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, data visualization, and dashboard development.
• Understanding of process automation, digital finance solutions, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and foreign exchange exposure management.
