Entry EKIN Marketplace Retail Marketing

NIKE, Inc. is looking for an EKIN to join its team based in Chicago. The EKIN will build relationships and deliver elevated education experiences in partnership with Nike-owned retail and key sporting goods partners, with a focus on running.

What You Will Work On

• Bring key Nike product stories to life across the marketplace as Nike’s product authority.
• Develop locally relevant seasonal plans aligned with city or geography marketing teams.
• Strategically authenticate Nike product stories in the marketplace.
• Create experiential training sessions for retail associates using video, virtual, and immersive in-person formats.
• Actively participate in the sport community and reinforce Nike’s mission and beliefs.
• Shape marketplace insights through observations of consumers, products, competition, and trends.

Who Will You Work With

You will report to the Territory EKIN Manager and collaborate with Centralized EKIN, Territory EKIN, City/Geography Marketing, Account Training & Delivery, Field Leadership, Store, and Retail Store Operations teams. You will also manage external vendor partners for training events.

What You Bring to Nike

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, sports management, or a related field, or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
• Two years of retail, sales, customer service, mentoring, or instructing experience.
• Knowledge of the running market, including consumer trends, local market hot spots, and retail destinations.
• Ability to connect and inspire people, facilitate meetings, and make strategic recommendations.
• Ability to drive testing and learning and apply consumer signals to strategy, planning, and content iteration.
• Deep passion for the Nike brand and sports.
• Positive and active social media and digital presence, with experience in content creation and online storytelling.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to lift objects and sample bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Event agency or large-scale special events experience preferred but not required.
