Your role
The Junior Electronics Validation Engineer will support the technical analysis, validation, and evaluation of alternative electronic components as part of the organization’s global Multisource Strategy. This role involves assessing component compatibility, supporting validation activities, analyzing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure component alternatives meet quality, performance, and project requirements.
- Support the technical assessment of alternative electronic components and suppliers.
- Analyze electrical specifications, datasheets, application notes, and technical documentation.
- Perform component comparison activities to evaluate compatibility with existing designs.
- Assist in identifying technical impacts associated with component substitutions.
- Execute validation and verification activities on electronic components under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support laboratory testing, functional testing, and electrical characterization activities.
- Document test results, observations, and technical findings.
- Participate in root cause investigations related to component performance or validation issues.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Systems, and Quality teams during component evaluations.
- Support engineering change activities related to component replacement initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, validation reports, and component evaluation records.
- Ensure compliance with internal engineering processes and applicable industry standards.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in electronics development, validation, testing, or related engineering activities.
- Basic understanding of microcontrollers, power devices, sensors, communication interfaces, analog and digital circuits, and passive components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Basic familiarity with Xpedition or equivalent software tools.
- English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
