EHS & Operations Manager

Location: Primark - Southampton

Salary: £39,709 with 31 days annual leave and pension

Contract: Full-Time Permanent, 5 days out of 7

As the EHS & Operations Manager within the store, you will establish a secure environment for customers and colleagues.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and monitor fire safety, asbestos management, and water system maintenance.
• Conduct regular EHS audits, investigating and escalating as appropriate.
• Review accidents and take preventative measures.
• Manage relationships with security and third-party contractors.
• Implement environmental initiatives covering energy, waste and chemical management.
• Lead a small team and collaborate with the store management team to drive operational excellence.
• Implement EHS policies and procedures through coaching and proactive hazard mitigation.
• Develop your career through digital learning, apprenticeships and career pathways.

What you’ll bring

• At least 3 years of management experience as an Operations professional.
• Relevant EHS qualifications such as NEBOSH, or willingness to work towards them.
• A keen eye for detail to identify potential hazards.
• Strong influencing and communication skills to challenge, engage and inspire at all levels.
