Tasks
As a Radar RF Integration and Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for automotive radar sensor integration, electromagnetic simulations, radar signal processing, and electromagnetic modeling of radar sensors inside vehicles.
- Analyze vehicle integration effects of sensor packaging and identify solutions.
- Create meshed models for multiple observations.
- Train new team members and track projects.
- Work in global interdisciplinary teams.
- Prepare reports and presentations of simulation results.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Technology, or a postgraduate degree in Physics.
- Knowledge of FMCW and radar signal losses.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/C++, Simulink, or LabVIEW.
- Knowledge of analytical electromagnetic modeling and experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools such as FEKO, HFSS, or CST.
- Experience in antenna design, hardware development, testing, laboratory testing, system measurements, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary environments and designing precision microwave assemblies for high-volume manufacturing.
Preferences
- German language skills.
- Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 2–10 years of experience.
- Experience with radar sensor design, simulation, and measurement.
- Antenna software, circuit design, and RF component experience.
- Experience working with an OEM or in an international environment.
- Knowledge of radar cross-section estimation, radar clutter simulation, or multi-target multi-sensor simulation.
