Tasks
- Analyse requirements and communication between different vehicle interfaces and the drivetrain, including telematics, body controller, UI/UX and ADAS, and define the integration strategy of the drivetrain into the MB.OS world.
- Specify vehicle interfaces as input for drivetrain software development.
- Monitor suppliers for software development according to the specification.
- Validate vehicle-interface integration.
- Report in project and management meetings.
Qualifications
- University degree in electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering.
- Deep knowledge of powertrain systems or powertrain high-voltage system design, calibration, testing, validation, integration and related areas.
- Familiarity with xEV powertrain system development processes, especially software development.
- Deep knowledge of MB.OS development processes and tool chains.
- Experience with eDrive powertrain control strategy, energy management, thermal management and other key-function calibration is beneficial.
- Fluent written and spoken English and German.
- Software skills in Vector (CANape/CANoe), INCA and DTS Monaco are mandatory; Matlab/Simulink is beneficial.
- Logical thinking for misbehavior detection and technical judgment based on data-analysis results.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder communication.
- Team-oriented attitude, ability to work independently, fast learning and self-motivation.
- Driver's license.
