Objective of job

Lead global display projects as the component main responsible person, including development, localization and supplier management, in collaboration with regional R&D and cross-functional teams.
Focus on display electrical and electronic hardware, optical and mechanical design, and support other development projects.
Troubleshoot and diagnose related rollout carlines globally.

Main Tasks

Evaluate open-source localization with China teams and suppliers and conduct proofs of concept where necessary.
Communicate with R&D counterparts in Germany on knowledge building and exchange, including component and system development and testing.
Manage global display development projects through PPAP release to series production, ensuring timely delivery and required functionality.
Coordinate with procurement, quality and logistics to establish localization milestones and meet schedules.
Support system and vehicle testing and release.

Qualifications

University degree in mechanical, automotive or electrical engineering.
Minimum 5–7 years of vehicle or component development experience at OEMs or suppliers, with proven display industry experience.
Experience in electrical and electronic component development and localization, CAD, electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting, vehicle-level electrical and electronic testing, optical and mechanical design, and validation.
Knowledge of electrical and electronic architecture, display development and industrialization, communication and diagnostic protocols, and Vector tools such as CANoe.
Familiarity with NX, Smaragd and diagnostic tools.
Native Chinese and fluent English; German is beneficial.
Self-responsible attitude, initiative, strong planning and organizational skills, intercultural competence and communication skills.
Willingness to travel within China and abroad for launches at joint ventures and suppliers.
