Who You’ll Work With

You report to the Senior Director, Transportation Network Operations and join the European Logistics Campus leadership team. You work with peers in Transportation and Customs, Distribution, Marketplace Operations, Logistics Planning, Technology, Finance, Procurement, and external logistics partners across EMEA.

You lead managers and experienced professionals who design, operate, and continuously improve Nike’s transportation network. You connect teams across the end-to-end value chain to ensure product flows to market safely, reliably, compliantly, and efficiently.

Who We Are Looking For

As TNO Director, you lead a large part of Nike’s European Logistics Network and shape the future of transportation network operations across EMEA. You translate logistics and marketplace priorities into transportation network strategy, ensuring stable performance today while defining future capabilities.

Key Experiences

• Team leadership: At least 5–10 years of experience inspiring leaders and experts, building accountable teams, and developing talent.
• Proven transportation experience: Extensive transportation and/or supply chain management experience in complex, multinational environments, including networks, budgets, carrier partnerships, procurement, and compliance.
• Strategic and systems thinking: Ability to translate priorities into vision, strategy, and operational roadmaps while connecting people, processes, and technology.
• Change and innovation: Experience guiding teams through transformation, process optimization, new ways of working, and emerging technologies such as AI.
• Exceptional stakeholder management: Ability to build relationships across leadership teams, marketplace partners, carriers, logistics providers, government authorities, and cross-functional stakeholders.

What You’ll Work On

You are accountable for the performance, design, and continuous improvement of Nike’s transportation network across EMEA, specifically the Southern region including France, Iberia, Italy, Greece, CEMEA, and returns overall.

• Ensure the door-to-door network meets marketplace needs and enables safe, legal, reliable, and efficient product flow.
• Lead the development and deployment of transportation network strategy, capabilities, partnerships, processes, and resources.
• Set goals, manage network performance against KPIs, and drive resilience, efficiency, service, and compliance improvements.
• Design and implement roadmaps for transportation technology adoption, process optimization, and performance improvement.
• Manage budgets, support procurement, strengthen vendor and authority relationships, and make timely decisions in a complex matrix environment.
• Contribute to the broader European Logistics Campus and Transportation leadership agenda.
• Develop managers and experienced professionals, support talent planning, and create conditions for high-performing teams.
