DFT Lead (Semiconductors)

Your role

Design-for-Test (DFT) is a multidisciplinary field involving design, architecture, verification, backend, timing, test, ATE, reliability, and other VLSI engineering skills. We are looking for a DFT Lead to support digital design flows and tools.

Your tasks

• Implement DFT inline with existing test methodology for advanced process nodes.
• Perform top- and block-level DFT insertion, including scan compression, JTAG, ATPG, pattern validation and simulation, MBIST, and LBIST.
• Work closely with the physical design team to resolve timing constraints and issues.
• Verify DFT circuitry, interface with other components and IPs, and debug timing simulation issues.
• Debug and improve DFT KPIs, including test coverage and pattern efficiency.
• Perform hierarchical retargeting.
• Support silicon bring-up, diagnosis, and physical failure analysis.
• Lead a multilocational team of DFT engineers.

Your profile

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with DFT and test flows using commercial EDA tools for large and complex SoCs.
• Strong knowledge of DFT techniques, including JTAG, ATPG, yield learning, logic diagnosis, scan compression, IEEE 1500, and MBIST/LBIST.
• Experience with Synopsys DFT Compiler, Tetramax, VCS, Tessent, or the Modus/Encounter tool suite.
• Experience with RTL simulation, synthesis, linting, CDC and RDC checks, STA, DFT, and quality metrics is a plus.
• Hands-on Perl, Tcl, or Python scripting experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
