DevSecOps Developer Zero Trust
Mercedes-Benz Canada is seeking a DevSecOps Developer to join its Global Cyber Security team and worldwide organization. The team delivers Identity and Access Management services that secure internal and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop services, solutions, and enhancements, including connectors, custom rules, workflows, automations, certifications, and third-party system integrations.
- Collaborate with application and product teams to align product goals with delivered features and services.
- Deliver user-focused experiences that adhere to accessibility standards.
- Work with the software engineering team on innovative approaches to complex problems.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and bug-related engineering efforts.
- Maintain live product availability and provide support.
- Promote code standards for quality, privacy, accessibility, security, and documentation.
- Assess Zero Trust technologies and define and implement the Zero Trust roadmap.
Qualifications
- BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or 2+ years of industry experience.
- 1+ years of commercial software development experience using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ, and SQL.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of multi-tiered applications, databases, application servers, network infrastructure, security, and data flows.
- Strong knowledge of REST and JSON APIs, as well as SCIM for user collection, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
- Strong knowledge of Git, including branching and tagging strategies.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, including security tooling such as SonarQube and Coverity.
- Ability to work effectively in project teams, facilitate discussions, support decision-making, and resolve conflicts.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English; German is a plus.

Compensation and benefits
