Because you’re the team’s glue. Motivate our way! As a Department Manager at Primark, you’ll own a department and help shape your team’s future while driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Own a department and maximize sales, inventory, and standards.
• Manage inventory, move product according to customer demand, and review and manage planograms and period layouts.
• Monitor trends and order merchandise daily to drive sales.
• Monitor the local market to maintain a competitive advantage in price, product, and shopping experience.
• Use data to understand department performance, drive sales, meet targets, and maintain stock file accuracy.
• Hire, train, coach, and motivate Sales Associates and Team Leaders.
• Build an exceptional shopping experience for customers and a positive work environment for colleagues.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 2 years of retail leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the local market and key competitors.
• Adaptability and the ability to flex plans and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to customer needs.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team while maintaining excellent store standards and customer service.
• Resilience and confidence providing constructive feedback.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting store management with the protection of people, property, and premises, including cash, stock, and property security.
• Keyholder responsibility and availability for emergency callouts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage difficult situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with managers, colleagues, and customers.

The pay range for this role is $65,520-$80,080.
