Hours: Full Time – 34–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends. Overnight shift: 9pm–6am.
Hourly rate: $29.51–$44.26. Actual pay varies based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
Role Overview
Behind every great team is a great coach. As an Overnight Department Manager, you will lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring team members feel included and supported.
You will use your retail expertise to drive store growth strategies, build community partnerships, implement Nike Service Principles, and represent Nike’s global culture of sport. You will lead your team in creating positive moments and bringing Nike to life for customers, communities, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
- One year of leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to use tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling.
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team that keeps all store functions running seamlessly.
- Attract, assess, and onboard future teammates.
- Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed in their daily responsibilities.
- Lead store teams and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management.
- Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
