Department Manager - Nike Paramus

NIKE, Inc. is looking for a Department Manager, known as a Coach, to lead and inspire the team at the Nike Factory Store Paramus in Paramus, New Jersey.

As a Department Manager, you will lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver excellent customer experiences while supporting store growth, community partnerships, and business results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and help keep store functions running seamlessly.
• Attract, assess, and onboard new teammates.
• Equip store employees with the tools needed to succeed.
• Lead team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people management.
• Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom through visual merchandising and the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
• Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
