You are looking for an internship in data science and have an interest in the financial sector? This opportunity is for you.

Within the Global Coverage and Investment Banking division, you will join the Client Lifecycle Data Management team, which leads the digital transformation of client-related activities and develops high-value services for clients and internal teams.

You will contribute to designing and developing AI services supporting client knowledge and business performance, using techniques including generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, NLP, named entity recognition, embeddings, semantic search, knowledge graphs, insight detection, recommendation, and prediction.

Responsibilities

  • Collect requirements and define the scope of projects.
  • Monitor developments and identify state-of-the-art techniques, libraries, models, and public training datasets.
  • Perform descriptive analysis and prepare data.
  • Propose modeling approaches and discuss them with the Lead Data Scientist.
  • Design and tune models.
  • Document and present progress.

Candidate profile

You are studying at a university or engineering school, specializing in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Generative AI. A minimum level of study equivalent to a first-year Master's degree is required, with 0–2 years of experience.

Technical skills

  • Machine learning and generative AI.
  • LLM implementation techniques.
  • NLP and NLU, including embeddings, Transformers, and BERT.
  • Regression, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, recommendation engines, time series, and deep learning.
  • Python for data science, including scikit-learn, PyTorch, Keras, pandas, and Matplotlib.
  • Text and embedding indexing with Elasticsearch and Faiss.
  • Prototyping with Gradio and Streamlit.
  • Version control with Git.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent French and English.
