Crédit Agricole CIB is seeking an apprentice Data Engineer to join the Augmented Banker AI programme for the Coverage and Sustainable Finance Division. The role focuses on building and operating a modern AWS data platform that supports generative AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Optimize data pipelines and improve existing AWS flows.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Develop new pipelines and ingest specialized market data.
- Transform and enrich data to support AI solutions.
- Ensure data quality and governance, including quality controls.
- Write technical documentation.
- Support generative AI teams and prepare data for models.
- Optimize AWS costs.
Profile
You are studying at a university or engineering school, specializing in computer science, data science, or an equivalent field. The position is suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of experience.
Required skills include AWS, particularly S3, Lambda and Glue; Python for data engineering; advanced SQL; data pipeline and ETL/ELT concepts; and Git/GitLab. Terraform or CloudFormation, data quality and observability, and CI/CD are appreciated. Fluency in French and English, autonomy, rigor and teamwork are expected.
