We are looking for an independent Consultant / Data Engineer to help clients bridge traditional enterprise-grade data platforms with modern cloud technologies. The role contributes to data integration and migration projects using Informatica, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and AI solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL/ELT processes using Informatica PowerCenter or IDMC/IICS, Microsoft Data Factory, and Synapse Spark.
- Support the migration of data processes and data warehouses from on-premises and Informatica-based systems to the OneLake cloud repository within Microsoft Fabric.
- Ensure data governance standards, maintain data quality, and manage data lineage across Informatica and Microsoft ecosystems.
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric Copilot and Azure OpenAI services to automate and optimize data processing.
- Collaborate with architects and enterprise clients to optimize information flows within hybrid data architectures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Consultant.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), and Data Quality.
- Experience with Azure services such as Data Factory and Azure SQL, and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong knowledge of advanced SQL and Python; PySpark experience is a plus.
- Fluent Polish and English at a minimum B2 level.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate project status clearly to stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft DP-600 or DP-203 certifications, or official Informatica certifications.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management and/or Data Governance concepts.
- Basic understanding of Power BI and its integration with semantic data models.
