As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing data architecture and processing systems for Atos Group clients. You will create blueprints for data management, ensuring data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently to support data-driven decision-making and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design conceptual, enterprise, and logical data models across multiple domains.
  • Define and select appropriate data platform technologies, including Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Databricks.
  • Architect scalable and cost-efficient data pipelines using SQL, Python, and dbt.
  • Align data architecture with enterprise systems and anticipate future changes, such as CRM or ERP migrations.
  • Collaborate on ML and AI architecture, supporting technical solutions for advanced analytics.
  • Integrate governance tools such as Microsoft Purview and define lineage and metadata management patterns.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in data engineering and analytics.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 4 years in data architecture roles.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including Lakehouse and Data Mesh.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align data initiatives with business goals.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, Python, SQL, dbt, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
